Hi, I wish to add to the discussion that this treatment worked very well for me with little to no side effects. Doxycycline works really well when you first take it, but your body gets resistance to it eventually buy doxycycline. I was on it for three years straight and the first two years were great (acne free!) but my body has developed a resistance to it after two to three years and it does not work for me any longer.

Nevertheless, the answer is yes, despite all the negatives. Doxycycline will clear up your skin to a significant noticeable degree. I personally have no bad side effects. It is highly recommended you talk to your doctor about the side effects. In addition, a little side note, (doxycycline will also cure Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, just in case if you have one and do not know about it).

Hello board, I had to go back to the dermatologist and she told me to stay on doxycycline hyclate for a few months longer. You also have to eat before you take it. I would definitely recommend it.
